Translation: Homage to you, whose two eyes, the sun and the moon, radiate sublime luminous light. Uttering HARA twice and TUTTARA, you dispel all horrifying epidemics.
This is the mantra of Lhamo Rithrodma, the 20th or “Mendicant” Tara, who averts all diseases. She is usually depicted as orange in color and her hand holds a vase of nectar on a blue lotus. The meaning of the mantra is that if the mother of transcendent wisdom is realized, the most dangerous epidemics of afflictions, their causes and fruitions, can be cured.
