Om Dum Durgayei Namaha

Phonetic:
AUM
DUMM
DUHR-gah-YAY
NAH-muh-HA

Translation: I bow to Durga, and invoke her protection.

Durga is the fierce, protective, guardian aspect of the divine feminine. In Hindu lore, she is the Mahishasura Mardini “slayer of the buffalo demon.”

This mantra invokes her protection and blessings. It is said to be especially good for those who are battling personal demons such as depression, compulsions, addictions, anxiety and the like.
